Come and join the exciting world of rowing. You don't need any prior experience on the water; just a lot of enthusiasm and energy. Class will meet from 6-8pm every Tuesday and Thursday, as well as Saturday mornings from 10-12. Julie Bennett will be coaching this session along with coxswains from our rowing members. Coach and coxswains are all highly experienced rowers, encouraging and make learning fun! Our 5-week LTR session is separated into 2 sections: For the first 2 weeks, all LTR 102 participants will be rowing together. This will be followed by 3 weeks of rowing with the Recreational Rowing team; Dave Morrison is the coach. We highly encourage all LTRowers to participate on M/W nights (6-8pm) and Saturday mornings (8-10am) to gain experience and hone technique. The Rec Rowing crew is a great group of people! We realize that, because you are taking a T/Th class, you may not be able to row every M/W with the rec team. That's okay. Show up as often as you can.

Please wear workout clothes that are close fitting. For your feet, socks and sneakers are best. Only high winds, thunder or lightning will prevent us from rowing. Wednesday, May 29 will be our Boathouse Regatta: Club Social. Please plan on rowing and sharing a picnic with the club!

IMPORTANT: All participants will need to read, print, and bring this (signed) waiver to the first session! We must have a signed waiver from you in order to place you in a boat!
