Spring season is open to athletes in grades 8-12 of all experience levels.

Season: March 22 - May 26

Varsity: Monday-Thursday, 5:30 to 7:45 PM and Saturday, 10 to Noon

Novice: Monday-Thursday, 5:30 to 7:45 PM

All practices take place at the Grand Rapids Boathouse which is located at 291 North Park Street NW. (The entrance is shared with Greenleaf Landscaping.)

The first week of practice will take place on land. Weather permitting, practice will move to the river the week of March 29.

The regatta schedule is being finalized. Details will be provided to athletes and parents as they become available and the website will be updated. Due to COVID-19, overnight and multi-day trips will be limited. Additional local and Michigan races are being lined up.

Season Dues: $250

Payment Plan Option: $125 due by April 1, $125 due May 3.

You may complete the registration without making payment if you plan to try it out for the first two weeks or utilize the payment plan.

Season dues are paid to the Club and cover all coaching, regatta entry fees, equipment maintenance and transportation, insurance, and other boathouse related expenses. Due to COVID, there will be less travel this season and the season dues reflect that.

Typically, there is an additional travel fee that is payed to the Parent Association to cover transportation, lodging, and most food for away regattas along with team tent supplies and a team t-shirt. Due to the more limited regatta schedule, this 2021 fee will be nominal if one is determined to be needed. Any travel to regattas outside of Grand Rapids will be the responsibility of the athlete/family.
