Join us for our Learn To Row 103 class. This is a sweep rowing class. We will be in boats of 4 and 8; each rower handles one oar. Experienced and highly qualified coaches will be leading our LTR 103 session. Each is highly experienced in coaching and coxing, is encouraging and makes learning fun! Class will meet from 6 - 8pm every Monday and Wednesday. This 4-week session is split into 2 learning pods. The first 2 weeks (8 hours) will be spent with only the LTR 101 rowers on Monday and Wednesday nights. For the next 2 weeks, participants will be rowing with the Recreational Rowing team and are invited to join in on Saturday mornings from 8-10am. We highly encourage all LTR participants to continue rowing on M/W nights (6-8pm) and Saturday mornings (8-10am) with our very encouraging and fun crew.
Please wear workout clothes that are close fitting and bring a water bottle to each practice. For your feet, socks and sneakers are best. Only high winds, thunder or lightning will prevent us from rowing. Wednesday, May 29 will be our Boathouse Regatta: Club Social. Please plan on rowing and sharing a picnic with the club!
IMPORTANT: All participants will need to read, print, and bring our general waiver and the COVID waiver to the first session! We must have signed waivers from you in order to place you in a boat!
