The Grand River Challenge was hosted by the GRRA on October 24 at the Grand Rapids boathouse. Even though participation was down due to sickness, and the weather was gloomy, spirits were high and the racing was excellent. Additionally, the first ever Grand Rapids Stake Race was quite successful, and a sight to behold as competitors vied to grab rubber ducks floating in the river, each corresponding to a prize!
